Participants at the 2009 Hospice Spinnathon
The Hospice Spinathon 2009 was held on Saturday 7 December 2009 at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. I try and help Hospice whenever I can, I think they are a great organisation and they do such great things in our community. Not only do they help people who are really ill they also help their family members and those left behind deal with the grief of losing a loved one. It is an organisation that is really close to my heart and that is why I help them whenever I can. I’m not sure how many Hospice Spinathons I’ve been involved in but I know it’s been a few. The turn out this year was once again pretty good on top of mc’ing at the event, my colleague from Talk Radio 702, Aki Anastasiou, talked me into spinning for an hour.

I am still trying to figure out how you are supposed to do half the stuff they want you to do on a stationary bike. Do bear in mind that I have absolutely no coordination at all; I battle to walk and chew gum at the same time. How is anyone supposed to clap and ride a bike at the same time??? I got through it, with my dignity still in tact and had a great time one again helping Hospice out. I look forward to seeing you there one again next year.
Awesome Brad, I see you can see into and live in the future!!! Can you tell me whether I will finish the comrades in 2010?
I’m trying to figure out if I’m going to finish Comrades 2010! lol
